iNSiGHT
The iNSiGHT is a state-of-the-art dual energy x-ray absorptiometry (DEXA/DXA) system specifically designed for small animal imaging. The system is self-shielded, and can be installed in an existing laboratory space or within an animal facility. Images and data are acquired in approximately 25 seconds, with measurements including bone mineral density/content, lean vs fat mass/percentage, and images showing bone area, lean and fat tissue, as well as an x-ray attenuated image.
