System Overview
MycoFog™ – Biodecontamination
The MycoFog™ biodecontamination system comprises an instrument (MycoFog™) that generates hydrogen peroxide vapor or vH2O2 from prepacked, ready-to-use, light- and air-sealed recyclable bottles of a proprietary hydrogen peroxide formulation. MycoFog™ allows incubator users to quickly, easily, and effectively biodecontaminate their incubators, gloveboxes, and closed workstations of bacteria, mycoplasmas, yeast, fungi, and viral contaminates. With regular use, the spread of contaminations that compromise experimental outcomes can be prevented.
Ordering Options:
- Fogger: A piezoelectric driven nebulizing instrument that creates hydrogen peroxide fog for biodecontaminating your incubator or closed workstation. Powered by a rechargeable battery.
- Reagents: A premeasured dose of the proprietary hydrogen peroxide solution in a light- and air-sealed recyclable bottle. One bottle is sufficient for one decontamination cycle.
Prove-it-to-Yourself Kits: Comes with a fogger, reagents, and four biological indicators (BIs) of Geobacillus stearothermophilus spores. These spores are commonly used to verify effectiveness of sterilization processes and can easily be used to verify proper sterilization with use of the system in your incubator. - Starter Kits: Comes with a fogger and the reagents needed to start using the system in your incubator.
