Overview

Intravital microscopy provides a powerful approach to visualize cellular and vascular dynamics in living tissues in real time and at single-cell resolution. This webinar will introduce confocal and two-photon intravital brain imaging approaches for investigating neuronal activity, glial dynamics, cerebral vasculature, BBB function, and neuroinflammation.

The presentation will also highlight awake imaging in rodents, enabling the study of physiological and neurovascular responses while minimizing the effects of anesthesia. Using representative examples from both normal physiology and disease models, the webinar will demonstrate how intravital microscopy can reveal dynamic cellular interactions and disease progression directly in vivo.
