We’re excited to announce that Scintica will be exhibiting at the Orthopaedic Research Society (ORS) 2026 Annual Meeting, happening March 27–31, 2026, at the Charlotte Convention Center in Charlotte, North Carolina.
This annual event brings together researchers, clinicians, and industry professionals from across the orthopaedic community to exchange ideas, share breakthroughs, and explore the latest innovations shaping the field.
Visit us at Booth #2 to learn more about our range of preclinical imaging and physiological research solutions supporting orthopaedic and musculoskeletal studies. Our team will be there to answer questions, demonstrate technologies, and discuss how our systems can help accelerate your research.
We look forward to connecting with you in Charlotte!
Location: Charlotte Convention Center, Charlotte, NC
Dates: March 27–31, 2026
Booth: #2

This presentation explores how in vivo DXA and ex vivo µCT work as complementary (not interchangeable) tools in preclinical bone research. Using orthopaedic examples, we’ll show how DXA enables low-dose, longitudinal tracking of bone mineral density in the same animals, supporting the 3Rs by reducing animal numbers and procedural burden. We’ll then highlight how µCT provides high-resolution insight into bone microarchitecture, validating and contextualizing DXA findings. Together, this integrated imaging workflow delivers a more complete, ethical, and translational view of bone formation and healing.
