(May 16, 2024) Webinar: M-finite applications of the M-Series (MRI)

(May 16, 2024) Webinar: M-finite applications of the M-Series (MRI)

The M-Series™ systems are cryogen/cooling-free, self-shielded, high-performance MRI systems. The M-Series systems allow preclinical researchers, with or without in-depth knowledge of MR physics, to utilize the gold standard method in soft tissue imaging without the cost, complexity, and technical burden of superconducting MRI systems. The M-Series are optimized for anatomical, functional, and molecular imaging applications in cancer, cardiac, neuroscience, and multimodal imaging.

Overview:

In this webinar, we will discuss the applications and capabilities of the M-Series™ compact MRI systems. Anatomical, functional, and molecular imaging can be performed on the M-Series and are often applied in cancer, cardiac, neuroscience, and multimodal imaging studies. We will highlight example data from a variety of papers and training sessions in which we will focus on anatomy, neurobiology, and oncology. Finally, we will review some data from contrast agents which further enhances the capabilities of the M-Series, providing invaluable insights into tissue/tumor perfusion, myocardial infarction size, and molecular targets.

Learning Objectives:

  • How the M-Series can contribute to various research applications
  • Wide variety of data that can be acquired with the M-Series
  • The image quality that is achievable at 1 Telsa
  • Introduction to the user-friendly nature of the M- Series

    Product Manager

Dr. Kara Wendel is a product manager at Scintica Instrumentation, she specializes in the Aspect M-Series compact MRI. Kara received her Ph.D. from UC Irvine where she studied how early life experiences shape brain circuits. During her Ph.D., she utilized MRI and viral tracing to map circuits within animal models. She followed her passion for science and cutting-edge technology by joining Scintica Instrumentation where she now works closely with researchers to implement and optimize the use of MRI in laboratories.
