From NIR-I to NIR-II

Newton FT-900

The Newton FT-900 is designed for in vivo optical imaging across visible, near-infrared, and NIR-II ranges, combining fluorescence and bioluminescence in one platform.

NIR-II imaging supports deeper tissue visualization, reduced background and autofluorescence, and real-time imaging of vascular flow and biodistribution, while preserving full capabilities for BLI and conventional FLI.

NIR-II Imaging for Preclinical Research

NIR-II optical imaging extends preclinical fluorescence imaging into the 1000–1700 nm range. This range supports deeper tissue visualization, reduced background from tissue autofluorescence, and real-time imaging of vascular flow and biodistribution.

01 Deeper tissue visualization

NIR-II imaging achieves 10 times greater photon penetration depth than visible fluorescence.

02 Less autofluorescence and background noise

Imaging in the NIR-II range supports better signal contrast and clearer visualization of biological structures.

03 Integrate with existing workflows

The Newton FT-900 combines visible, NIR, and NIR-II imaging to preserve BLI and conventional FLI capabilities in one platform.
